Lost & Found

o-LOST-DOG-facebook_250x250Unfortunately our furry friends can go missing from time to time. Here are a few tips in the event of this happening:

  • Call the Christchurch City Council 03 941 8999 and register your pet as lost. Provide them with a good description and include details such as their microchip number and tag if they have one and the area and time you last saw them.
  • Visit animal shelters such as the SPCA and rescue organisations and also boarding facilities.
  • Call vet clinics and let them know of your missing pet. Sometimes straying and/or injured pets will be dropped off at a nearby clinic.
  • Advertise your pet as lost on petsonthenet.co.nz, Trademe and notify ‘Inspector Spot’.

If you have found a pet, then please bring them in to a clinic to be scanned for a microchip. They are most likely lost and we will try our best to find their owner.
