Kate Donald – Pet Rehabilitation

Kate is an exciting new addition to the Ourvets team! She is an experienced pet rehabilitation practitioner, with a passion for animal care and the physical body. Kate has been successfully performing rehabilitation services on dogs and cats for over 4 years, and this year is studying long distance to become qualified as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner, through the University of Tennessee in the USA.

Kate is experienced in working on animals who are recovering from orthopaedic and spinal injuries or surgeries, as well as congenital orthopaedic conditions such as hip and elbow dysplasia. In addition she treats injured working dogs, competition agility dogs and older pets with arthritis or spondylosis. All of these injuries and conditions benefit from rehabilitation services and improve the pets comfort and quality of life.

When assessing your pet, Kate will recommend a rehabilitation program that will get them back on all four paws again, and give them the strength to live their best life. She offers cold-light laser therapy, massage, joint mobilisation, stretching, strengthening and co-ordination exercises.

Together, we will create a rehabilitation program for your pet that is tailored to their specific needs.
